The award for binding cooperation for fair and transparent work in the river cruise sector
On European rivers such as the Rhine and the Danube, about 4,000 nautical employees and 10,000 hospitality employees work on almost 400 ships.
We award a Fair Cruise Work Mark to companies with which we have signed a binding cooperation. The Union does not claim that only companies with this label are fair, or that there are no more problems with the awarded companies.
But we can say that we carry out effective and confidential inspections of companies with this label and that we discuss any problems directly and quickly with the management and try to resolve them. For more background information read here
